I’ve decided the world needs to hear the truth about the lizard people.
Ok, no, I haven’t – I’m not crazy enough to think the lizard people would let me write a blog about them.
This will be a collection of reactions and responses to various things that happen in the world – be they one off events like news snippets such as a political scandal, or ongoing situations like developments in the delivery of public services.
Every post will be covered by the following disclaimer: I am a liberal, and I am logical. This means that I will not offer any knee jerk, wooly, can’t-we-all-just-get-along, happy clappy nonsense. Liberalism does not mean – and indeed cannot mean – “anything goes”. Rather, it means “as much as possible goes, for as many as possible, as often as possible, in as many situations as possible”.
Basically, this means that most people won’t like the blog. Well, it really means that most people will never even see the blog and of those who do most will probably denounce me as a fringe lunatic. But on with the show.
